Resources List

Hey, guys, I thought we could start a resource list for artists and craftspeople in the Maritimes -- so that we can share great local shops or online sources with other East Coasters.

I though we could organize them into categories, eventually.

Here's a few of my favourites:

Have a Yarn, Mahone Bay, NS -- one of the best local yarn shops I've ever seen, this store on Mahone Bay's Main Street is packed full of the best handcrafted local and imported yarns, plus some great commercial lines, patterns, accessories and more. Run by VERY knowledgeable people, too.

Java Bead, Bridgewater, NS -- no website yet. Java Bead has just opened on Bridgewater's main street (conveniently located next to the pub!) and has a lovely selection of top quality beads and semi precious stones. They have some wonderful sterling fittings, crystals, lampwork beads and offer a series of classes in jewelry making. Recommended!
